Mb Dog ameyasema hayo alipokuwa akiongea kwenye kipindi cha Planet Bongo kinachorushwa na East Africa Radio, na kusema kuwa meneja wake yupo safarini, na moja ya jambo atalofanya ni kuongea na Lil Wayne ili kuweza kufanya nae kazi.
“QS Mhando yuko safarini, anafanya maongezi na Lil Wayne, tunasubiri kupata clip kidogo tuwaletee, unajua mwenye mawazo madogo wanawaza hivyo, kwa sababu Lil Wayne mtu tu kati ya watu”, alisema Mb Dog.
Pamoja na hayo Mb Dog amesema yeye anapofanya colabo na wasanii wanaofanya vizuri sasa hivi sio kama anatafuta njia ya kurudi, bali anachanganya ladha na kutanua soko la kimataifa.
“Kushirikisha sio sababu ya kutoka, ni kuchanganya ladha kwa sababu nilishatokaga, tena mwenyewe, kwa sasa hivi nategemea kushirikisha mtu ili kutoka kimataifa”, alisema Mb Dog.
Pia Mb Dog amesema kazi ambayo anatarajia kuiachia hivi karibuni ni moja ya kazi nzuri na bora ambayo hajawahi kuifanya kipindi cha nyuma.

Cannes film festival rolls out the red carpet

The world's most famous film festival has begun in Cannes on the French Riviera, with a special emphasis on women. This year's first film was a decidedly less glamorous affair than the flashy openers of recent years.

The Cannes Film Festival opened on Wednesday with director Emmanuelle Bercot's "Standing Tall." The low-budget film about a young delinquent caught in a cycle of violence is a far cry from the glamorous, star-studded movies that have opened the festival in recent years like "Moulin Rouge!", "The Da Vinci Code", "The Great Gatsby" or last year's "Grace of Monaco."

The choice marked a shift to a more socially-conscious festival focused on women in leading roles both on and behind the camera.

"To choose this film for the opening of the festival is a response to a difficult year in Europe, especially in France," said French icon Catherine Deneuve, who starred in "Standing Tall," referencing the violence that rocked Paris in January when Islamist gunmen attack the offices of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo and a Jewish supermarket.

Ironically, Deneuve is herself the subject of the magazine's latest front page. She said she hadn't seen it, but added: "I hope it's funny."

Other highlights on the festival will be Natalie Portman's directorial debut about the early years of Israel - premiering, but not in the competition running - and "Carol" starring Cate Blanchett in a film about a lesbian relationship in New York in the 1950s. Even the festival's big blockbuster, "Mad Max: Fury Road", which premieres Thursday, puts a woman (Charlize Theron) at the center of the action.

Coen brothers are jury co-presidents

Heading up this year's jury are US film director siblings Joel and Ethan Coen, co-presidents of a group that includes stars like Jake Gyllenhaal, Sienna Miller and Sophie Marceau.

The Coens jokingly took a swipe at movie industry upstarts Netflix and Amazon at a press conference Wednesday.

When asked how they felt about the surge in popularly for Internet-based companies like Netflix, which had a documentary nominated for an Oscar this year, Joel Coen asked in deadpan tone: "How do I feel about people watching 'Lawrence of Arabia' on their iPhone?"

The director, who along with his brother has been a regular fixture at the festival for decades, added that "nothing can compete" with "sitting in a crowd of people watching at movie on an 80-foot screen."

The press conference was a rare moment for journalists to converse with the usually tight-lipped jury, who are unlikely to make many more public comments ahead of awarding the festival's top prize - the Palme d'Or - along with the acting and directing awards on May 24.

‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Blu-ray Rumors: Deleted Scenes, Extended Edition and Alternate Ending

Avengers: Age of Ultron has already grossed over $200 million in international release and will likely add at least that much to its grand total when it opens this weekend in the United States. Since the first film in 2012, fans have been patiently waiting for more Avengers action and that’s exactly what Joss Whedon delivers with the sequel.

Now, it seems like we might not have to wait until the third Avengers for more Avengers. Amazon.co.uk sent an e-mail to their users offering a pre-order of the Age of Ultron Blu-ray. According to their e-mail, the disc will include an extended version of the film and an alternate ending. However, Whedon said the disc will have deleted scenes, they just won’t be cut into the film. We contacted Disney Theatrical and Home Video about this story but they had no comment. Amazon, however, has added this note to the Avengers pre-order page: “Note to Customers on Bonus Features – Please note that the bonus features on this product have not been confirmed and may be subject to change.” That’s almost certainly them covering their mistake.

To add context to this story, Joss Whedon recently told Flicks in the City there will be lots of deleted scenes on the Blu-ray, just not edited into the film.

Taking that Amazon e-mail in conjunction with Whedon’s quotes, you have to think the truth of the matter is this: the disc should feature a lot of deleted scenes, one of which may be an alternate ending. But if we’re being realistic, I wouldn’t expect anything huge or game-changing. This is purely speculative but I’d imagine – if anything – the ending is just a different edit of the ending that’s currently in the film. Also, someone will eventually edit those deleted scenes into the movie, creating an extended edition, but that’s not Whedon’s vision.

‘The Lord of the Rings’ Cinematographer Andrew Lesnie Has Died at 59

Oscar-winning Australian cinematographer Andrew Lesnie has died of a heart attack at age 59. Lesnie was Peter Jackson’s collaborator for fifteen years, and therefore has a significant authorship of the director’s exploration of Middle-Earth, in addition to his many other achievements. The Australian Cinematographers Society released a brief statement saying “We have been advised of the sudden death of Andrew,” and noted that his family would make an official statement soon.

Lesnie has worked consistently with Peter Jackson since shooting The Fellowship of the Ring, for which Lesnie also won the Best Cinematography Oscar in 2002. He shot all six Middle-Earth movies, as well as The Lovely Bones and King Kong. Leslie also worked extensively with director George Miller, beginning with behind-the-scenes work on The Road Warrior, and eventually acting as cinematographer on both Babe films.

Lesnie also shot films such as I Am Legend and Rise of the Planet of the Apes. All told, Lesnie’s body of work represents a significant portion of the evolution of large-scale, effects-based films over the past twenty years, even as he also made time for smaller films between several of his larger adventures.

Most recently, Lesnie worked as cinematographer on  Russell Crowe’s film The Water Diviner.

Rumor: Is This the Title of the New Spider-Man Movie?

In the comics, he’s been “Amazing,” “Spectacular,” “Ultimate” and more. Now, rumor has it for his next big screen incarnation, Spider-Man will be an Avenger.

A new rumor from former Latino Review scooper El Mayimbe says Sony and Marvel are currently toying with Spider-Man: The New Avenger as the title for the July 28, 2017 film, likely to be directed by Drew Goddard. The title – if true – makes a lot of sense. It echoes Marvel’s Captain America series, which started with “The First Avenger,” strongly positions the film as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to audiences, and differentiates itself from the Sam Raimi and Marc Webb movies. As stated, this is an unconfirmed rumor, but lots of the times, the people who passed Gonzalez these rumors are legit. Still, take it with a grain of salt.

Either way, I think the biggest clue of a nugget of truth here is the lack of adjective. Spider-Man has almost always been “Amazing” or “Spectacular” in popular culture. For a normal person, it’s gotta be difficult to keep track. It’s especially difficult to keep track when there will have been three separate actors playing Spider-Man on the big screen in the past ten years.

However, if you call the movie Spider-Man: The New Avenger, the subtitle gives it a very different sound and everyone will know that Spider-Man isn’t on his own anymore. He’s get Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk and the crew on his side. And that’s exactly what Sony wants people to quickly and simply realize. Spider-Man is now part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
